RAVENNA, Ohio — After a regional Endangered Child Advisory was issued for a 14-year-old girl missing from Portage County, Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF), along with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and the Portage County Sheriff’s Office located her in Pennsylvania, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
The teen, from Ravenna, had last been seen on Thursday.
When the advisory was issued, authorities said they believed she may have been with Eduardo Jose Guerrero, 21, and believed the teen could be in danger.
Guerrero was on bond with Portage County for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, importuning and possession of criminal tools when he was believe to have left with the girl in the middle of the night, authorities said.
On Saturday afternoon, investigators safely located the teen, who was with Guerrero, in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania.
Guerrero was arrested and will be held in the Mercer County Jail until he is able to be extradited back to Portage County to face his pending case.
An investigation into whether federal charges will be placed is also ongoing, authorities said.
